This measure tracks the number of juvenile cases that result in a finding of delinquency as a percentage of all at-risk youth (youth between the ages of 11 and 17). Data for all counties in Georgia are complied and reported by the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee. There is generally a 2 year delay in the reporting of statistics on juvenile delinquency.

The percentage of families in poverty represents the percentage of households in Fulton County living below poverty level in the past 12 months according the U.S. Census Bureau's definition of poverty. A family is considered to live in poverty if its total income is below a threshold value determined by the size of the family and the number of children in the family. For example, the threshold for a family of four made up of two adults and two children under 18 years was $24,339 in 2016. The threshold for a family with more children is higher while the threshold for two adults with no children is lower.

This key performance indicator measures the total number of people employed by private industries in Fulton County. Private industry includes any non government employer from small businesses and major corporations. The data are taken from the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Census of Employment and Wages and includes the number of people employed by all private industries.
